Soft sole shoes are perfect for babies and toddlers at the beginning of their walking journey. Giggle and Co soft sole shoes have a suede sole which bends easily with each step, allows the feet to “breathe”, is comfortably soft against the skin and provides some grip on the floor below.
Measuring your baby’s feet
Measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your final size. If their foot is in between two sizes, take the bigger size. Remember to allow for socks, if you intend your child to wear any. They aren’t necessary though. Once on, baby or toddler shoes should have about a finger’s width of room between the front of the shoe and their big toe. Give a gentle squeeze to check.
Use the Giggle and Co printable (click here, printed at actual size, 100%) or measure with a ruler and a piece of paper.
Using the printable: Their foot should fit within the shape on the printable. If their toes are on the line or go over it, they should take the next size up.
Using a ruler: Place their foot flat on a piece of paper, making sure toes are not curled up. Draw parallel lines at the back of the heel and at the end of the big toe. Measure the distance between the lines. Use the table below to determine which shoe size they should use.
